Job summary

Centerspace is seeking a Maintenance Specialist in Minnesota to join our Service team, helping prepare apartment homes for residents and handling routine repairs. You will contribute to the upkeep of buildings and grounds while delivering excellent customer service.

Position includes on-call rotation, on-site work, and opportunities to learn plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks, with a rotating schedule and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Must be available for on-call work (evenings, weekends, overnights) on a rotating schedule.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Willingness to learn plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall and painting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting/drywall.
• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
• Respond to resident service requests; enter and track requests using a work order system.
• Keep amenity areas clean and operable; seasonally assist with snow removal and groundskeeping.
