Job summary

TalentGate, a Hunt Group, Inc. company, seeks a hands-on Technical Operations manager to shape the operating model, strengthen maintenance/reliability, and support increasingly automated packaging across the business.

The ideal candidate will lead across facilities to improve uptime, equipment performance, and technician capability, while ensuring food-safety compliance and regulatory alignment in a fast-moving packaging environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance and reliability improvements in a food environment.
• Hands-on problem solving for complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Proven ability to build structured PM programs and spare-parts processes.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and external resources.
• Experience leading multi-site facilities with high mixing/changeover.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and operations to improve line readiness.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable maintenance and reliability function to boost uptime.
• Lead maintenance across multiple facilities to improve line readiness.
• Serve as senior technical escalation for equipment failures.
• Design disciplined PM and parts-management systems.
• Develop technician workforce with knowledge transfer.
• Partner with engineering to improve sourcing and automation.
• Own parts, procurement, and vendor support strategy.
• Align operations with food-safety and regulatory standards.
• Move to professional technical-operations with clear standards.
• Provide visible leadership on-site to foster accountability.
