Job summary
Green Sustainable Solutions (GSS) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support automated bulk material handling and packaging facilities in our organization. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving maintenance processes to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with automated packaging equipment.
- Experience with pneumatic conveying systems, conveyors, silos, and industrial dryers.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and manuals.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair automated material handling, conveying, and packaging equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation issues.
- Lead a small maintenance team to maximize reliability.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining as required.
- Safely operate fabrication tools and typical machine shop equipment.
- Support equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
