Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Maintenance Planning Engineer to transform approved maintenance strategies into actionable plans within SAP S/4HANA EAM and CMMS environments.

You will drive standardized work orders, task lists, and preventive maintenance programs across the site network, coordinating with Reliability Engineering and Procurement to ensure asset readiness and meaningful BOMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience building and configuring maintenance plans, task lists and PM orders in CMMS/ERP.
• Strong writing skills and ability to develop clear work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Translate maintenance strategies and FMEA into actionable site plans.
• Develop and maintain CMMS asset structures, PM programs and BOMs.
• Implement maintenance plans in CMMS and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Audit plans and update with new equipment data and learnings.
• Collaborate with supply chain, OEMs and reliability engineering on updates.
• Perform other duties as required.
