Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to prioritize safety and manage maintenance work in an industrial setting. You will create service orders, define work scopes, and ensure readiness before scheduling.

Responsibilities include maintaining the maintenance backlog, building BOMs, tracking parts, and coordinating with teams to align scope and timing. A high-school diploma and 3+ years in maintenance-related roles are required, with CMMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, operations, or maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial setting.
• Experience working with CMMS software preferred.
• Education as listed in the qualifications section.

Responsibilities

• Creates accurate and complete service orders in mPulse with asset information, failure codes, priority, scope, and documentation.
• Develops executable job plans defining work scope, labor, parts, tools, access needs, and permits.
• Conducts field walks to validate scope, equipment condition, hazards, and readiness before scheduling.
• Maintains maintenance backlog by monitoring work order status, age, priority, and readiness.
• Builds equipment BOMs, asset records, and asset hierarchy in mPulse for planning and reliability decisions.
• Monitors preventive maintenance completion and overdue work; updates PMs based on history and feedback.
