Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Maintenance Planner to improve plant reliability, uptime and maintenance efficiency by planning, coordinating and scheduling all preventative, predictive and corrective activities. This role ensures work orders are properly scoped and jobs are executed safely with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, operations, or maintenance planning/scheduling within an industrial environment.
• Experience working with CMMS software (preferred).
• High-school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or technical certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and schedule preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities to improve reliability and uptime.
• Ensure work orders are properly scoped with materials, labor, and safety considerations.
• Develop executable job plans including scope, labor, parts, tools, and isolation needs.
• Conduct field walks to validate scope, equipment condition, access, hazards and readiness.
• Maintain maintenance backlog by tracking status, age, priority and readiness.
• Build and maintain BOMs and asset data to support planning decisions.
• Monitor PM completion, overdue work and recommend updates based on history and reliability findings.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to source parts and prepare complete job kits for planned outages.
• Provide ready-to-execute work orders, labor estimates and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, contractors and improvement teams to align scope and timing.
• Capture post-job feedback and usage data to improve future plans and reliability analyses.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Education
