Job summary

ASR Group in Crockett, CA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and forecast workloads. You will analyze repair specs, order parts, and monitor inventory while updating SAP with preventive maintenance data and coordinating with production.

The role involves supervising maintenance staff, ensuring GMP compliance, and driving reliability through timely repairs and proactive planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BS/BA preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Scheduling, planning or PM program experience required.
• Experience operating SAP systems preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge with Electrical/PLC knowledge preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly scheduling of maintenance plans.
• Achieve the set planned preventative maintenance schedule.
• Analyze repair specifications to determine tools, parts, and resources.
• Order parts according to lead times and monitor inventory levels.
• Update SAP with preventive maintenance data and coordinate with production.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure safety and GMP adherence.
• Maintain labor relations and ensure timely diagnosis and repair.
• Track program effectiveness to minimize plant downtime.
