Job summary

ResProp Management in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance tasks across the community. You will respond to work orders, maintain common areas, and assist with turnover of vacant apartments while coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires 1+ year maintenance experience, EPA Type I/II/Universal preferred, and a valid tool set. You’ll join a team focused on safety, service, and property value.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance or repair experience.
• EPA Type I, II, or Universal certification preferred.
• Trade skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have dependable transportation and rotating on-call duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and complete maintenance tasks promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots).
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve property value.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Identify safety issues and report or correct them.
• Maintain and repair critical building and site systems.
• Use software to track work and performance.
• Be part of a team in a developing environment.
