Progress Rail in Memphis, TN seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to uphold the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnose and repair mechanical problems, and perform emergency and proactive repairs on production equipment and facilities to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of mechanical experience or technical certifications, is proficient with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and follows safety procedures to maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience or Technical Certifications with other mechanical experience.
• Certified/Licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
• OSHA 10 hours certified; PLC experience; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Train other employees.
