Job summary

FIXX Energy is seeking a Maintenance Technologist 1 in Smyrna, TN to support the Maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, focusing on electrical, controls, and mechanical systems.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and emphasizes safety and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with PLCs/HMIs (Omron/Siemens preferred), and ability to read schematics and manage data

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience in automotive, battery, or electronics sectors is beneficial.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
Ability to read schematics and work with 480V 3-phase systems.
Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on production line equipment.
Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and HMIs for process automation.
Maintain maintenance logs and work orders; report status in meetings.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards (IATF16949, VDA 6.3, ISO14001).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve KPIs and drive improvements.
Assist with general facilities maintenance as needed.
