Traditional Medicinals in Sebastopol, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to lead advanced troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment installation on production lines. You will guide junior mechanics, partner with engineering, and drive continuous improvements in a GMP environment.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and operational excellence with a focus on packaging machinery maintenance in a fast-paced food/beverage setting. Onsite work with rotating shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of hands-on maintenance experience on plant packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, food safety, and related procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsabilités

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex machinery on production lines.
• Lead preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
• Maintain and optimize production equipment for efficiency and reduced downtime.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new or upgraded equipment.
• Read schematics and manuals to resolve issues and improve systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory usage.
• Collaborate with production to minimize interruptions and downtime.
• Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and troubleshoot external issues.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and process optimizations.
• Ensure a safe, clean, cGMP-compliant work environment.
