Job summary

Redwood Beverage Group LLC in West Sacramento, CA, is seeking an Aseptic Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aseptic processing and packaging equipment to ensure safe, compliant production of sterile beverages. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical/associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in aseptic/food/beverage manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors.
• Electrical systems, PLC basics, sensors, instrumentation knowledge.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments; aseptic fillers and sterilization systems.
• CMMS experience; welding, fabrication, machining skills.
• PLC troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley/Siemens.
• Understanding CIP/SIP and sterile processing principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aseptic processing, filling, and packaging equipment (fillers, sterilizers, pasteurizers, conveyors, pumps, valves).
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; implement corrective actions.
• Support aseptic start-ups, changeovers, CIP/SIP, and equipment validations.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and inspections in CMMS.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain clean, organized, safe work environment; follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train operators on basic operation and preventive care.
