The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is seeking a Senior Maintenance Mechanic. This role performs skilled maintenance and repair of facility structure and equipment, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and furniture installation.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in related trade required.
• 5 to 9+ years of relevant work experience for Senior level.
• 3 to 5+ years for Intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures and plumbing for water distribution.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on complex equipment.
• Participate in stretch assignments and lead when assigned.
• Assist with construction and installation related to facility structure and furnishings.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to optimize availability and yield.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements; operate tools and meters safely.
