Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, align, and service conveyor belting and related systems in a food production setting. You will maintain chain drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics, perform welding as needed, and support production with rapid breakdown response.

The role requires 3–5+ years in industrial maintenance, familiarity with CMMS, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in industrial or mechanical maintenance.
Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics.
Familiarity with PM programs and CMMS.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, align, and maintain conveyor belting systems (V-belts, timing belts, modular belts, welded belts).
Maintain and repair chain drives, tensioners, and lubrication systems.
Inspect and replace worn or failing mechanical parts.
Fabricate, weld, and install mechanical components as needed.
Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, flow controls, filters, and dryers.
Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication tasks.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures using root cause analysis and critical thinking.
Interpret mechanical schematics, flow diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
