Job summary

Amerisource Health Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and service high-speed packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical environment. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise and a minimum seven years in manufacturing maintenance.

You will support continuous improvement initiatives, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety and cGMP standards while training operators and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Seven years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical background; pharma/manufacturing preferred.
• FDA, cGMP or blister line experience preferred.
• Ability to read English language technical documents.
• Strong problem solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical packaging equipment (thermoformers, cartoners, printers, vision systems).
• Work with high-speed packaging equipment (continuous and intermittent motion).
• Adhere to cGMPs, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping in work areas.
• Collaborate with AHP operations to meet quality and production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency and output.
• Train operators on setup issues.
• Observe Lockout/Tagout and all safety procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings and diagrams.
