Job summary

MilliporeSigma in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for 3rd shift (Sun-Thu 11pm-7:30am). You will overhaul, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, install new systems, and coordinate with the Production Supervisor to set priorities.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment setup, diagnosing malfunctions, and completing work orders. You may handle waste including hazardous materials; GMP pharma experience and strong documentation are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5+ years of experience in electrical, pipe fitting, machinist or related trade.
Experience interpreting drawings and schematics.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
GMP pharma experience.
Documentation and CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

Performs Preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems.
Performs setup and installation of equipment and training for production employees on machine operation.
Diagnoses malfunctions of production equipment and utility systems and makes necessary repairs.
Completes work orders, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
As a part of the employee’s job requirements, the employee may be required to handle waste including hazardous waste.
