Job summary

WM in Minneapolis is seeking a Maintenance Manager to direct and control the maintenance department ensuring safe, efficient operation of multiple recycling facilities. You will lead a team, supervise contractors, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, budgeting, safety training, and generating monthly financial reports. A strong background in engineering or maintenance of industrial equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (accredited) or equivalent experience.
• High School Diploma GED plus four years of relevant work experience.
• 7 years experience in engineering or maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Preferred: knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance department and supervise staff, including contractors.
• Manage preventive maintenance and reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks with operations and vendors.
• Develop budgets and report monthly to site Controller.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and conduct safety training.
