Job summary

Amazon in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the site, oversee Area Maintenance Managers, and develop the next generation of maintenance leaders.

You will drive preventative maintenance programs, manage department budgets, ensure safety compliance, coordinate with operations teams, and travel domestically up to 15% to support network-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing RCA, and implementing CI.
• 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership.
• 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Area Maintenance Managers and their teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage budgets, drive CI.
• Ensure safety protocols across sites and audit safety programs with site leadership.
• Manage capital spending, coordinate external contractors, and ensure high-quality service.
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network initiatives across sites.
