Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager in Lakeland, FL. You will lead a dynamic maintenance team, develop maintenance strategies, and balance proactive planning with rapid problem resolution to ensure safety and operational excellence.

You will oversee preventative maintenance programs, coordinate with operations, and mentor technicians and automation engineers to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS software experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products experience.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with external contractors while maintaining high service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues across operations.
