Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plastics manufacturing facility maintenance program in the United States. You will manage a team of technicians, develop preventive maintenance plans, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance management, a strong technical background in plastics equipment, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of maintenance management experience.
• Experience with plastics manufacturing equipment (extruders, injection molding, conveyors).
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure proper functioning and longevity of all machinery and equipment.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify issues and improvements.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance and minimize disruptions.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with external vendors for repairs or installations as needed.
• Manage the maintenance budget and procurement of spare parts.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety culture in the facility.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory.
