Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance at a Florida production facility. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise, leadership to guide technicians, and the ability to interpret manuals and schematics for repairs and upgrades.

You will develop PM programs, coordinate across shifts, and minimize downtime while ensuring a safe, organized shop and clear communication with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing; food/packing experience preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, pumps, and PLCs.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and prints.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily maintenance team activities across all shifts.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, OEM docs, schematics, blueprints, and prints to guide repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and lead troubleshooting to restore production.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, PM records, and parts usage.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors/contractors.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance technicians.
• Collaborate with Production leadership to minimize disruptions.
• Identify equipment upgrades, process improvements, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance shop and work area.
• Communicate with manufacturers, vendors, and service providers for repairs and support.
• Schedule vendor visits, inspections, and repairs with clear internal communication.
