Job summary

Twenty Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is seeking a general maintenance technician to service indoor and outdoor premises across multiple locations. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and project work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and related systems while documenting activities and following safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include yard and landscaping tasks, carpentry, and coordinating with Engineering and other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 2–4 years related experience.
• Maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers, and related equipment.
• Ability to read meters, gauges and testing instruments for diagnostics.
• Commitment to safety guidelines and OSHA/TICS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and related equipment.
• Complete departmental technical projects as required (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
• Read meters/gauges to identify issues and determine repair paths.
• Maintain landscaping/sprinkler systems and carpentry/plumbing/electrical work as needed.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Comply with safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
• Support multiple locations and coordinate with Engineering and other departments.
