Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician/engineer to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical controls, fluid power, and manufacturing processes, and the ability to work effectively with management and operations. Candidates should possess an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or related field, familiarity with SAP Plant Maintenance, and proficiency in Windows software;

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school including an Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or closely related field.
• Proficient in Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SAP Plant Maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication, high-level problem solving.
• Certifications in technical fields are a plus.
• Good safety and attendance record; familiarity with AC/DC circuits and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide technical support for all phases of operation.
• Collaborate with management and operations to improve processes.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
