Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist for the night shift at the Waverly, NE plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and provide technical support across all operations, focusing on preventive maintenance and reliability of mechanical and electrical systems.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree in a relevant field and hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Mechanics/Automotive or Electrical Technology preferred.
• Extensive experience with troubleshooting electrical and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC industrial electrical systems and PLCs.
• Experience with lockout/tagout safety procedures.
• Proficient with maintenance documentation and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and machines for optimal performance throughout the production day.
• Adjust production machines per maintenance schedule and manuals.
• Inspect machines and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Replace parts to restore operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete work orders promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times.
