Job summary

Tyson Foods in Cuthbert, GA, is seeking an Electrician Maintenance (EC01–EC08) to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and production equipment. The role supports plant operations with preventive maintenance and rapid response to production needs, ensuring safety and compliance with Tyson policies.

The position requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of industrial electrical maintenance experience; preferred is a technical certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of industrial electrical maintenance experience or equivalent technical training.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to successfully complete Tyson Foods electrical assessments and required training.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility.
• Diagnose and repair motors, motor controls, drives, relays, contactors, transformers, panels, and electrical distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC‑controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
