Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Machine Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems in our plant and lead a team of mechanics to ensure safety, quality, and uptime.

The role requires a minimum of 6 months of mechanic experience or completion of industrial maintenance training, and it involves a 2nd shift with overtime as needed in Wisconsin. Compliance with GMP and SQF standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to perform safety, GMP and 6S-related audits.

Responsibilities

• Follow all documented procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment for RTE side operations.
• Perform and complete preventative maintenance work.
• Provide guidance and training to machine maintenance mechanics as needed.
• Assist with crewing schedules and reliability program documentation.
