Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician Subject Matter Expert (MESME) to drive reliability and maintenance excellence across critical electrical/instrumentation assets.

You will lead the maintenance team, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and ensure that work orders are planned, scheduled, and executed effectively, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical/instrumentation/automation required or equivalent experience.
• Electrical license or certification required; NEC mastery preferred.
• 5–8 years of maintenance electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience; travel up to 10% of time.
• Experience with SAP and CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical/instrumentation/automation maintenance teams to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop and champion Precision Maintenance techniques; ensure procedural compliance.
• Identify and implement critical maintenance projects; manage real-time condition data.
• Coordinate training for maintenance personnel and develop reliability procedures.
• Maintain CMMS records and provide reliability reporting to leadership.
