Job summary
NTT DATA North America in Addison, Texas seeks an experienced Mainframe Vantage Programmer to join our team. You will develop life products on the Policy Administration System, leveraging COBOL/JCL/DB2 in a complex insurance environment.
Travel up to 80% is required, with Addison, TX preferred. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to define requirements, write technical specifications, and lead project deliverables from design through production rollout.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of Vantage experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of TRAD whole life/Universal life product development.
- Minimum 8+ years development experience using COBOL, JCL, DB2.
- Travel: at least 80% with Addison, TX or Montpelier, VT preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Attend client meetings to understand requirements and provide technical solutions to build Life products in Policy Administration Systems.
- Build Life Product features on Vantage policy administration system.
- Create technical specifications and document dependencies for system migrations and conversions.
- Provide technical guidance and lead the team to meet product deliverable timelines.
- Perform SIT/UAT support and Production rollout assistance.
