Job summary
NTT DATA Services in Plano, Texas is seeking a Senior Mainframe COBOL Developer / Technical Lead to drive technical leadership on high-volume, mission-critical systems. You will design and enhance mainframe solutions, mentor teams, and set standards for reliability and performance.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience building enterprise mainframe applications.
- Experience with high-volume, mission-critical mainframe systems.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
- Familiarity with CICS and Dynamic Transaction Routing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and support of enterprise mainframe apps.
- Mentor and guide development teams on best practices.
- Define scalable, high-performance data processing architectures.
- Establish development standards and code quality expectations.
- Evaluate platforms and drive modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Infra and Ops to plan upgrades and resolve issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve processes and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and production support.
