Job summary

Veriipro in Plano, Texas seeks an experienced IBM mainframe storage administrator to manage DASD storage, Hitachi Disk Storage systems (HDSVSP/USP/VSP), and VTS/VTL environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in DFSMS, SMS, ACS routines, and storage groups in a 24x7 enterprise setting.

You will monitor capacity, perform allocations and migrations, and ensure high availability of mainframe storage resources. 8–10 years of relevant experience and BE certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support IBM mainframe storage infrastructure in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
• Manage and maintain DASD storage using Hitachi Disk Storage HDSVSP and related storage subsystems.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Virtual Tape Systems VTS/VTL and physical tape environments.
