Job summary

Revolution Technologies seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to manage IBM z/OS storage across three data centers. You will architect, configure, and optimize SMS, DFSMShsm, RMM, and DASD, while coordinating with vendors to ensure high availability of storage services.

The role requires hands-on expertise with PowerMax, MVT, zEDC, and TDMF for z/OS, and to participate in DR exercises and on-call rotations. A Bachelor’s degree and 11+ years in IT are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, no substitution.
• 11+ years IT experience with mainframe storage preferred.
• Extensive hands-on IBM z/OS storage administration expertise.
• Experience with SMS, DFSMShsm, ACS routines, ISMF, and RMM.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and following change-management processes.
• Ability to support multi-data-center mainframe storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level administration for IBM z/OS enterprise storage.
• Configure and monitor SMS storage groups, pools, and RMM.
• Develop and activate SMS ACS routines using ISMF.
• Initialize and maintain DASD devices and DFSMSdss dumps/restores.
• Monitor storage capacity, health, and alerts; address issues.
• Support Dell EMC PowerMax SRDF replication and MVT.
