Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Mainframe, MQ and CICS to join the MAI team. You will work on mission-critical software used across brokerage platforms and participate in on-call rotations, backlog prioritization, and cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes production stability, scalability, and engineering excellence, with exposure to CICS, MQ, DB2 and related mainframe technologies in a two-site active-active setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mainframe development with CICS, DB2 and MQ.
• Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting mainframe apps.
• Familiar with CICS, COBOL, VSAM, MQ, SQL.
• Knowledge in Assembler, REXX, JCL, JAVA; Control-M a plus but not required.
• Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Work on MQ and multi-site infrastructure software used across the brokerage platform.
• Participate in on-call rotation for team-owned software.
• Collaborate with team leads and cross-organizational stakeholders to prioritize backlog and plan major initiatives.
• Contribute to production stability, scalability, and engineering excellence.
