Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of mainframe solutions that align with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership to mainframe development, operations, and modernization teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver innovative mainframe solutions.
• Establish new intake and change processes for mainframe workloads and tune CIC/MQ & z/OS Connect performance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to drive modernization of mainframe platforms.
• Enforce best practices, standards, and governance for mainframe environments.
• Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps and blueprints for mainframe systems.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of mainframe apps and infrastructure.
• Participate in ITSM processes such as Release/Change, Incident/Problem resolution.
• Resolve CICS/MQ incidents during troubleshooting.
• Partner with enterprise architects to define enterprise-wide tech strategies.
