Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a skilled mainframe engineer to translate vision into business solutions by developing stock plan services software on a mainframe under Z/OS. You will lead an interactive team, guide architecture, and ensure scalability and standards conformance in an Agile environment.

The role requires deep experience with COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series and SQL, plus performance tuning, testing, and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in defining, developing and leading teams to implement scalable mainframe solutions.
• Proven mainframe development and operations experience using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series and SQL.
• Experience in performance tuning to reduce I/O, CPU time and MSUs on z/OS environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive team to deliver scalable stock plan services on a mainframe platform under Z/OS.
• Provide on-site and on-call support as needed within an Agile team.
• Contribute to requirements gathering, development, testing and documentation for complex projects.
