The Senior Mainframe Engineer plays a critical role within our managed services engineering team, providing technical leadership and driving operational excellence across customer environments. This position focuses on developing standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring consistent, reliable delivery of mainframe services. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision to modernize z/OS environments and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and scalability.
Leadership & Core Competencies Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, influence decisions, and set strategic direction Skilled in developing repeatable, standardized processes for complex system upgrades and migrations Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
