Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT and 4+ years in development.
• JCL – write structured jobs, debug JCL errors, understand Schedule IDs.
• Mainframe DB – understand relational databases, SQL, keys and indexes.
• IBM DB2 – understand relational databases, SQL, keys and indexes.
• COBOL – write and debug standard COBOL programs of moderate complexity.
• Mainframe Systems – experienced in ISPF, File Manager, CA7, Syncsort sFTP.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases, requirements, and advocate for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, and agile methodologies.
• Assess software requirements to determine the best technology stack, integration, and deployment strategies.
• Create high-level software architecture designs outlining structure, components, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement software test strategy, policies, and processes aligning with regulations and best practices.
