You will design, develop, test, implement, and support changes using IBM mainframe technologies, collaborating across teams to ensure stability and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills, plus the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience.
Minimum 5 years’ systems analysis and/or application development experience.
At least five years of mainframe experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, and related tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, test, and support mainframe changes.
Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and impact assessments.
Collaborate with stakeholders and teams following Agile, DevOps, and change-management processes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Participate in on-call/off-hours production support as needed.
