Job summary
Fidelity Investments is seeking an experienced Principal Systems Services and Support Analyst to plan, coordinate, and support disaster recovery tests across mainframe and distributed environments. You will analyze and resolve complex system issues, apply incident management, and advise leadership on service improvements.
The role requires extensive experience with z/OS, UNIX, Linux, Windows, and VMWARE, plus strong JCL/COBOL skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with years of experience automating mainframe applications, data, and systems infrastructure.
- Experience automating and integrating mainframe environments and scheduling with Control-M and JCL.
- Strong knowledge of batch processing, disaster recovery, and incident management procedures.
Responsibilities
- Defines and leads enterprise-level support strategies.
- Develops and implements best practices for systems support.
- Establishes project plans and scope for complex system analysis projects.
- Designs new systems based on requirements.
- Advises leadership on operations and service improvements.
- Mentors junior analysts in systems analysis and business workflows.
- Performs complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects.
- Ensures production stability and compliant DR testing across environments.
- Collaborates with clients to understand requirements and provide guidance.
- Develops system design and test procedures with quality standards.
