Capgemini in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Mainframe Developer to lead the design, development, support, and enhancement of tax and regulatory reporting applications on IBM mainframe platforms. Qualifications
- 8+ years IBM Mainframe development experience.
- Expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS.
- Hands-on with Zeke, File Manager, Abend-Aid, SPUFI, SORT, ICETOOL.
- Experience with SFTP, batch processing, and job scheduling.
- Strong SQL, debugging and performance tuning; Azure DevOps/source control.
- Familiar with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
- Tax and Regulatory Reporting in Banking/Financial Services.
Responsibilities
- Lead development, maintenance, and support of tax reporting applications.
- Collaborate with tax, finance, and compliance teams to define requirements.
- Design, review, test, and deploy mainframe-based reporting solutions.
- Ensure performance, stability, and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Mentor developers and support project planning and estimation.
