Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Sr. Developer, Technology to join the Delivery team, focusing on mainframe applications using COBOL, z/OS, CICS, and JCL. You will collaborate with developers and testers to estimate User Stories and deliver value in an Agile Kanban environment.

Hybrid work arrangement allows three days on-site and two days remote; candidates should have 5+ years of mainframe development experience and hands-on Hogan, DFSORT, and SYNCSORT, with a strong quality focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years COBOL, z/OS, JCL, TSO, CICS experience.
• Experience in Hogan mainframe banking system development.
• Experience with Sort Utility software (DFSORT, SYNCSORT).
• Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug software.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Keen attention to detail with focus on quality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies.
• Develop/modify, test, implement and support mainframe apps with IT peers.
• Provide production support including after-hours and on-call.
• Ensure apps remain current, stable and compliant with standards.
• Familiarity with Hogan mainframe development.
• Perform other duties as required.
