Job summary

Concentrix CVG Customer Management Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise mainframe applications.

You will work onsite in Omaha, NE, handling COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM with both online and batch processing, and you will mentor junior developers in an Agile environment. Ideal candidates bring 7–15 years of hands-on mainframe experience, strong analytical skills, and solid communication.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of hands-on mainframe experience.
• Strong COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2/VSAM expertise.
• Experience with online and batch JCL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications with COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Work on online and batch processing systems.
• Analyze requirements and translate into solutions.
• Perform unit testing and provide production support.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and use JIRA for tasks.
• Ensure first-time-right delivery and zero defects in production.
