Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha seeks a Sr. Developer, Technology to drive mainframe delivery within an Agile/Kanban team. You will collaborate with developers, testers and a scrum master to estimate user stories, support mainframe applications, and ensure value delivery across the software lifecycle.

You should have deep COBOL, z/OS, JCL, CICS and Hogan experience, with knowledge of DFSORT/SYNCSORT and related mainframe tools. Hybrid work arrangement and strong collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years COBOL, z/OS, JCL, TSO and CICS experience.
• Experience with Hogan mainframe banking system development.
• Experience with Sort Utility software like DFSORT/SYNCSORT.
• Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug tools.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies and standups.
• Develop, test and support mainframe applications; provide production support.
• Document functionality, monitor systems and assist on-call support.
• Ensure applications stay current, stable and compliant with standards.
• Collaborate with Hogan mainframe development and IT peers.
