Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Sr. Developer, Technology to partner with the Delivery team to ensure value-driven mainframe solutions. You will work with Developers, Testers and a Scrum Master in an Agile Kanban environment to deliver and support mainframe applications, leveraging COBOL, z/OS, CICS, and JCL.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and adaptability, with hybrid in-office and remote work opportunities and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years COBOL, z/OS, JCL, TSO, CICS experience.
• Experience in Hogan mainframe banking system development.
• Experience with Sort Utility software (i.e. DFSORT, SYNCSORT).
• Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug software.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Keen attention to detail with focus on quality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly and positively.

Responsibilities

• 1. Participate in all Agile ceremonies.
• 2. Develop/modify, test, implement and support mainframe applications; provide on-going support to internal business units.
• 3. Provide support with functional knowledge, documentation, system monitoring and production support (including on-call).
• 4. Ensure applications remain current, stable and compliant with enterprise standards.
• 5. Familiarity with Hogan mainframe development.
• 6. Other duties as required.
