TechClub Inc is hiring a Senior Mainframe Developer for a W-2 contract in Jersey City, New Jersey. This onsite role emphasizes mainframe coding, complex banking applications, and collaboration with product teams to deliver robust, secure solutions.

You will write COBOL/CICS/IMS code, work with JCL, VSAM, MQ Series, and DB2, and contribute to architecture and design documents. A strong emphasis on hands-on development, problem solving, and compliance awareness is required.

Qualifications

• Expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, CICS, and DB2.
• CICS programming expertise, including CICS screen programming.
• Experience coding with MQ Series and IMS DB.
• Hands-on coding and development experience.
• Experience with version control.
• Effective communication with team members and clients, along with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience or knowledge building and maintaining new test regions is preferred.
• Experience with banking compliance and regulatory platforms is preferred.
