Qualifications

• 7-15 years of experience in mainframe development with COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
• Strong online and batch JCL expertise
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience mentoring juniors and performing code reviews

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
• Work on both online and batch processing systems
• Analyze requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Perform unit testing, support system testing, and production support
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
