Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in COBOL development, debugging, and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of CICS for transaction processing and system integration.
• Proficiency in DB2 for database development and data management.
• Strong experience with JCL for batch job development and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL programs with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Support online transaction processing using CICS.
• Design and optimize database queries and structures using DB2.
• Create and manage batch jobs using JCL.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
