Job summary
Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks a Senior Database System Administrator to maintain DB2 and related IBM mainframe databases. Qualifications
- Clearance required: Secret.
- IAT-I certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math and seven years’ experience with installation and maintenance of IBM database software and associated support products.
- Ten years’ experience with installation and maintenance of IBM database software.
Responsibilities
- Maintain software and DB2 environments in compliance with the STIG and/or SRG.
- Provide technical services to the customer on questions and issues relating to the database software on the DISA mainframe systems for DB2.
- Install, customize, upgrade and maintain DB2 Software on mainframe platforms running z/OS; participate in migrations.
- Maintain knowledge of SOP; use tickets, change requests and documentation.
- Use SMP/E to install and maintain software for execution on IBM Mainframe z/OS.
