Job summary

Diné Development Corporation seeks a DB2 System Administrator to maintain DB2 environments on IBM mainframes running z/OS, ensuring STIG/SRG compliance and staying updated with vendor-supported software. You will install, upgrade, and customize DB2 software, participate in migrations, and document all work following SOPs.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Secret clearance, and IAT Level 1 certification.

Qualifications

3–5 years of DB2/Mainframe experience.
Associates degree as stated above.
Secret clearance required.
IAT level 1 certification required.

Responsibilities

Maintain software and DB2 environments in compliance with the STIG and/or SRG.
Provide technical services to the customer on questions and issues relating to the database software on DISA mainframe systems; provide a report to the COR.
Install, customize, upgrade and maintain DB2 Software on mainframe platforms running z/OS; participate in migrations and upgrades.
Maintain knowledge of SOPs; complete work using documented procedures; update tickets and change requests.
Use SMP/E to install and maintain software for IBM Mainframe platform.
