Job summary
Broadcom is seeking a senior mainframe consultant with extensive experience across Broadcom software mainframe products such as SYSVIEW, OPS/MVS, NetMaster, and Mainframe Application Tuner. The role requires deep z/OS knowledge, REXX/HLASM programming ability, and a track record of delivering customer-focused infrastructure solutions.
The candidate will qualify solutions with the account team, understand client technology needs, and architect tailored implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of experience with Broadcom mainframe products or similar
- Deep knowledge of z/OS, mainframe subsystems (JES, CICS, MQ, DB2, IMS, VSAM) is required
- Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to present solutions to customers
Responsibilities
- Assist the Broadcom Account Director and Solution Architect in qualifying solutions and benefits
- Understand customer needs and architect a solution to meet them
- Document technical requirements and demonstrate product capabilities to customers
- Lead complex product demos and proofs of concept as needed
- Coordinate virtual teams and ensure delivery of value across customer engagements
