A global financial services firm is seeking a Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer/Engineer in Georgia. This role focuses on CICS engineering, system maintenance, and operational functions with a need for strong analytical skills. Qualifications

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills are required.
On-call support needed to resolve CICS issues.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all phases of CICS engineering and software maintenance.
Interface with application developers and operations teams.
Support CICS environment performance tuning and debugging.
Skills
Knowledge of SMP/E, software upgrades and maintenance
Knowledge of CICS parameters in CICSPlex
Experience with CICSPlex SM implementation
CICS Performance Analyzer
Problem determination and dump analysis
Knowledge of Cobol
Experience with Mainframe Websphere MQ
Assembler, COBOL and REXX knowledge
Understanding of zOS facilities
CICS Configuration Manager
Working knowledge of zOS & CICS Explorer
Understanding of CICS REST Services
